Academic & Professional Background
Born in 1981 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Dr. Kamran Efendioğlu completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English Programme, 2004) — one of Turkey's most prestigious medical institutions. He completed his specialisation in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara University.
His international training includes an internship at MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, USA), an observership at Baylor School of Medicine (Texas, USA), advanced cleft surgery training at Showa University (Tokyo, Japan), and a microsurgery certificate from the University of Zurich.
Dr. Efendioğlu holds the European Competency Certificate from EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) and is dual board-certified by both the Turkish Plastic Surgery Board and the International Board. He is an active member of TPCD and ISAPS.
