Step 2 — Online Consultation
We will arrange a free video consultation with Dr. Efendioğlu at a time convenient for your time zone. This is a real medical consultation — Dr. Efendioğlu reviews your photographs and medical history, discusses your goals in detail, and provides an honest assessment of what is achievable. Please prepare a list of current medications and any relevant medical history before your call.
Step 3 — Personalised Surgical Quote
Following your consultation, you will receive a clear personalised quote for your medical care. This covers the surgical fee, anaesthesia, accredited hospital care, post-operative medications, compression garments where required, and all follow-up appointments during your stay in Istanbul. Hotel accommodation is not included because each patient has different preferences for location, room type, comfort level, and travel companions. Our team can still recommend suitable hotel options near the clinic when requested.
Step 4 — Travel to Istanbul
Istanbul is one of the world's most connected cities — with direct flights from virtually every major European, Middle Eastern, Central Asian and North African hub. We recommend arriving at least one day before surgery to rest and complete pre-operative blood tests. Our team can recommend hotels near the clinic ranging from comfortable to luxury.
Step 5 — Surgery & Recovery in Istanbul
Surgery is performed at Medicana Kadıköy Hospital. A member of our team accompanies you throughout your hospital stay. Most procedures require a post-operative stay in Istanbul of 5–10 days before it is safe to fly home. Your coordinator checks in on you daily during your recovery.
Step 6 — Follow-Up from Home
All post-operative follow-up appointments are conducted via video call for international patients. Dr. Efendioğlu remains personally available throughout your recovery via WhatsApp. Detailed written care instructions are provided in your language before you depart Istanbul.
